Jeanneau – 55
The Jeanneau Yachts 55 is a strikingly modern cruising sailboat introduced in 2023, designed by Philippe Briand in collaboration with Andrew Winch and the Jeanneau design team. At approximately 16.98 m (55′9″) overall length with a full-beam of 4.99 m (16′4″), she offers the feel and space of a larger yacht while remaining manageable for owner-operators.
What really sets her apart is the innovative deck layout and sociable living spaces. The “Dual Cockpit” concept separates the helm stations (forward) from the large aft relaxation zone — the aft area features two lounging configurations (U-shaped and L-shaped), which convert into sun-lounges, and a hydraulic swim platform that opens for easy water access. The twin helm stations give excellent visibility under the hard-top and wrap-around windscreen, making sailing both safe and pleasurable.
Below deck, the Jeanneau Yachts 55 emphasises comfort and privacy. The owner’s suite is located forward with a full-beam layout, while two additional guest cabins each have private en suite facilities and separate access from the cockpit.
